Your four legged friends are very welcome here at Pinewood Park. Our units that are pet friendly are:

  • Camping Field

Doggy Rules for your humans!

🐶 Please keep your dogs on a lead at all times

🐶 Use the off site Dog Walk as shown in the map below

🐶 Obviously dogs cannot be left unattended in any accommodation

🐶 Maximum 2 dogs per unit

🐶 Each dog is £4.00 per pooch per night in your above accommodation

🐶 No Dangerous Dog breeds are allowed on the site please.

 

 

Where to Exercise your dog whilst visiting Pinewood Park

Exit the site via the footpath on your left and take the gate in the first lay-by. This field may have sheep so ensure you follow the countryside code if your dog is not used to being around livestock.

Dog Friendly Places to visit

🐶 Scarborough Castle. This site welcomes dogs on lead.

🐶 The Amusements along the seafront allow dogs on leads in most areas downstairs.

🐶 Cayton Beach (all year round)

🐶 Flamborough Beach (all year round)

🐶 Dalby Forest. Dog Friendly forest walks for most abilities, including humans.

🐶 Robin Hood’s Bay Beach (all year round)

🐶 North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Dogs are welcome on most trains, excluding Dining trains or some Special Events.

🐶 Flamingoland. Dogs are welcome in much of the Theme Park, apart from the zoo.

🐶 Eden Camp, Malton. The site is dog friendly and has a Dog Friendly Cafe on site also.

🐶 Scarborough Beach (signs indicate which parts are dog friendly and during what months). Dog Friendly areas on both North and South Beaches all year round.

🐶 Raincliffe Woods, Lady Edith’s Drive. Miles of woodlands that are home to cyclists, dog walkers and wildlife galore.

🐶 Central Tramway, Foreshore Road. The trams allow dogs on a lead to ride up, and even down too! As long as accompanied by a human friend.

🐶 Old Man’s Breathe, Hackness. Boardwalks line the stream in the heart of the National Park with disabled access and dog friendly walkways.

🐶 North Bay Miniature Railway, Open Air Theatre to Scalby Mills. One way or round trips are dog and child friendly.

 

Dog Friendly Pubs and Cafes

🐶 The Mayfield Pub in Seamer, there is a dog friendly area in the pub and a soft play area for the kiddies, as well as serving good food!

🐶 Farrers Bar, The Scarborough Spa. Dog friendly area in the front, serves food too. Great spot for a coffee or snack after a good run out on the beach.

🐶 The Merchant Pub, Eastborough. Dog friendly bar for an irish bar drink on your travels.

🐶 LoveBrew Cafe, Eastborough. Afternoon tea or cake heaven, and welcomes clean pawed dogs.

🐶 Three Jolly Sailors, Burniston Village. Dog friendly lounge with real fire and home cooked food.

🐶 Calf Cafe, Eastborough. Dog friendly vegan cafe, supporting calf sanctuary.

🐶 Ox Pasture Hotel, Lady Edith’s Drive. In the heart of Raincliffe Woods just a couple of miles from here this hotel offers a lounge and afternoon teas and food menu.
